Anticipatory Grief Support

Brighter Days provides no‑cost grief counseling and grief support groups for youth and adults who are facing the terminal diagnosis of a loved one. Our team understands that anticipatory grief can be overwhelming, isolating, and emotionally complex, and we are committed to walking alongside individuals and families through every stage of this experience.

As a statewide grief center, we offer both virtual and in‑person options to ensure that every Minnesotan has access to compassionate, specialized care, regardless of location, financial circumstances, or family structure. Our licensed counselors and trained facilitators provide developmentally appropriate support for children, teens, young adults, and adults, helping them process emotions and feel less alone during an incredibly difficult time.

Hospitals, hospices, and medical teams across Minnesota trust Brighter Days as a partner in care. They rely on us to provide immediate, comprehensive support that honors the dignity of patients and strengthens the wellbeing of families. By removing barriers to access and offering a continuum of services, we help ensure that no one has to navigate anticipatory grief without guidance and a compassionate community.

If you or someone you love is facing a terminal diagnosis, Brighter Days is here to support you with care that is grounded in empathy.
