While our main focus is on families, we realize that there are issues that can arise within the community that may bring the need for grief and crisis support. We encourage collaboration with schools and businesses to educate staff and implement grief support processes and programs. The following organizations bring support and awareness to schools and communities.
The team at Brighter Days provides consulting services for Minnesota schools, colleges, organizations, and communities in the event of a death or crisis.
Canvas Health provides stigma-free help for those struggling with mental illness, substance use, crisis, sexual assault, grief, loss, and trauma. Their mission is to provide hope, healing, and recovery to the people they serve. Canvas Health also provides on-site mental health services to select schools through their Therapeutic Assistance Program (TAP).
A groundbreaking, practitioner-oriented website designed to provide educators with the information, insights, and practical advice they need to better understand and meet the needs of the millions of grieving kids in America’s classrooms.
Kelly Grosklags, LICSW, created Conversations with Kelly (CWK) for a powerful purpose: to alleviate suffering. Her message of hope and healing celebrates the power of coming together, where patients, survivors, friends, family, providers and caregivers unite in an intimate forum dedicated to creating positive change.
Students receive education, assessment, referral, therapy and after-care from FamilyMeans therapists in several school districts.
Healing Hearts Connection offers schools consultation and education following a school crisis, and also provides speakers for groups and organizations on general grief education.

Washburn Center for Children provides families mental health assessment, treatment, and school consultation at 23 schools in the Minneapolis, Bloomington and Eden Prairie School districts.
Brighter Days Family Grief Center focuses on bringing families back together after the death or terminal diagnosis of a loved one by addressing the many psychosocial and logistical needs of each family member.
