Camp Kesem serves children (ages 6-16) who have lost a parent to cancer, have a parent undergoing cancer treatment, or whose parent is a cancer survivor.
In partnership with Brighter Days, LIVIN Foundation created Camp LIVIN as a weekend retreat for individuals and families who have experienced the death of a loved one to suicide.
Camp Widow® is a weekend program which provides both practical tools and relevant resources for widowed persons rebuilding their lives in the aftermath of the death of a spouse or partner. Additionally, Camp Widow® Kids is held concurrently with the annual Camp Widow® San Diego weekend. Children who attend MUST be accompanied by a parent who is attending Camp Widow®.
A free retreat for families who have lost a child due to a life-threatening illness within the last 5 years. Families are given the opportunity to talk with therapists and each other, and relax and rebuild the foundation of family support. This retreat takes place at the Metropolis Resort, the home of Action City and Chaos Water Park, one of the leading entertainment centers in the Midwest, located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
A weekend retreat for all family members grieving the loss of a loved one. At this weekend-long camp, every member of the family has the opportunity to participate in integrated yet separate programs. Activities are mirrored in each program, providing shared experiences and a common language to use as they continue on their lifelong grief journey after the camp ends.
Joshua’s Camp is a very special and FREE retreat with a life-renewing mission. We offer a safe haven where everyone in the family is given the opportunity to step back, relax and experience a feeling of solid ground. Joshua’s Camp serves families that have a child 17 years of age or younger being treated for cancer or out of treatment less than three years. Families must be referred to Joshua’s Camp by an Oncology Professional and have a Medical Clearance.
