Support Groups

Brighter Days provides free group opportunities in several different formats for  youth, young adults, and adults.

Short-term: For those who prefer a structured and closed support group. These groups require a 6 to 8 week commitment, and are facilitated by grief professionals and trained volunteers.

Long-term: For those who prefer a more casual group based on shared experiences, these groups meet monthly and are facilitated by trained volunteers.

Facebook groups: For those who prefer to stay connected with previous group members and/or to stay updated on events and resources specific to their type of loss.

Both short and long-term groups require a brief intake and registration process; please fill out the contact form below and one of our team members will be in touch with you.

A supportive group experience can be a wonderful way to connect to others who have experienced a similar loss. It can also be a heavy experience if you have not given your grief the attention it deserves. We strongly encourage individual grief counseling prior to starting a group; please contact us if you would like help determining if a group experience is the right fit for you.

We truly listen to the needs of our community members, and create many of our groups based on requests. Please fill out our request form and we  will reach out to you when there is enough interest to form a group. Please note that this process can take up to two months depending on the end dates of other groups. Thank you!

Thank you for reaching out!
